Weight Loss Simplified! Losing Weight the Convenient Way!

I am a software engineer by profession and recently had a baby. I was a good 58 kilos before pregnancy, but during and after delivery my weight shot up to 80 kilos. I was struggling to lose weight as I was juggling between hectic schedules at work and taking care of my baby. I used to feel heavy, had less stamina and this was something I definitely could not afford. Juggling between these different jobs demanded me to stay very active. But, I had absolutely no control on my diet and would eat whatever I laid my hands on.

Losing weight became inevitable!

After pregnancy, as I had some hormonal issues, my gynecologist advised me to lose weight to resolve it. So I enrolled into zumba classes with a hope to lose weight. But I did not lose weight what-so-ever. After that, I started with daily walks, and the maximum I would lose is a kilo or so and that to if I indulged in a heavy meal, my weight would increase instantly. This demotivated me and I was not happy with the outcome.

Weight loss needed assistance!

As I realized I couldn’t do it on my own anymore, I browsed through some weight loss apps and came across obino app on play store. I found it easy to understand and manage. First, I signed up for the free trial session. I was so comfortable with the entire process that later I signed up for the program.

The diet plan was very easy to follow, which was very similar to the regular foods we consume. I lost around 3 kilos in the 1st month itself. Today, I have completed 2 months and have lost 6 kilos in total.* The guidance provided was so apt, I was also suggested indoor physical activity just in case I couldn’t step out for walks. With all the conceptions that dieting means eating different foods and eating less, I never knew losing weight could be simplified so well. Coach Shraddha who was my assigned coach, planned the diets according to my preferences, and has always supported and motivated me. She even guided me during while traveling which made my life much easier.

I can eat what I like, in a healthier way!

I still eat what I like. It’s just that I have been given a healthier twist to it. I have increased my protein intake, which I never realized I was lacking on.  I have started incorporating salads and even got into a habit for it. Infact, I love salads now and try different varieties. I love rice and I still have rice but the healthier one – brown rice. I have also become so regular with green tea. My junkie munching habit has gone completely healthy now. I still munch, but on healthier foods. The best thing is that I have learnt self-control and have become conscious to what I eat. I feel guilty when I eat the wrong foods and don’t exercise. I think this is what I wanted and have learnt it now. I have tried to inculcate these healthy habits for my family members as well.

The Eureka Moment!  

I have regained my confidence and receive several compliments. Eating healthy makes you feel really good about yourself. I am loving my lifestyle now.
