4 Reasons You Need To Consume Garlic Everyday

1. Lowers blood pressure

Angiotensin II in body increases the blood pressure by helping our blood vessels contract. Allicin, in garlic inhibits the activity of Angiotensin II and helps in reducing the blood pressure. It helps in detoxification and healing. Also, red blood cells convert the sulphur containing compounds present in garlic to hydrogen sulphide. This hydrogen sulphide dilates the blood vessels and thus helps in keeping the blood pressure under control.
